Qatar and Ecuador will play the opening match

[

The 32 teams are divided into four pots of eight formations, which are distributed according to the Fifa ranking published on Thursday, with Qatar as the top seed in group A as host.

Completing the list of seeded teams are Brazil, Belgium, France, Argentina, England, Spain and Portugal.

In pot 2 there will be five European countries (Germany, Holland, Denmark, Croatia, Switzerland), two from Concacaf (Mexico, United States) and one from Conmebol (Uruguay).

The winners of the last three play-offs are considered Cup 4 teams.

Each one of the drums will be emptied during the draw, extracting balls successively. It will start with 1 and end with 4.

Each team will then be assigned a number, from 1 to 4, which will correspond to its position within the group, a fact that will serve for the order of the matches. The definitive calendar and the place of the matches will be made official later by Fifa.
