Luis Díaz showed off his new ‘patch’ in Liverpool; he does well with brazilians

Luis Díaz, who has received several accolades from the English press, has gradually adapted to his new lifestyle in Liverpool and this week he shared a photograph with some of his teammates, after the victory over Benfica for Uefa Champions League.

Through his personal Instagram account, the Colombian striker replied to a story about goalkeeper Adrián San Miguel and showed that he has a great affinity with the Brazilian soccer players of the club, since he speaks Portuguese without any problem.

In the snapshot, which quickly went viral on the different social networks, you can see the footballer for the national team together with Thiago, Fabinho, Roberto Firmino, San Miguel and Kostas Tsimikas, who was very excited when Díaz was signed.

“Back to Liverpool, boys”, was the message that the Spanish goalkeeper wrote to accompany the image, which also received hundreds of comments of support from fans of the Reds.

Jürgen Klopp has repeatedly praised the quick adaptation that the Colombian National Team striker has had and the way in which the group has welcomed him.

“He is a very good player. He has adapted in the best way. We have some guys who speak Spanish and Portuguese, and that helps. Guys like Thiago, Fabinho and Firmino have taken him under the wing of him, he spends a lot of time with Harvey Elliott”, assured a few weeks ago.

Then he added: “It is not easy to bring someone during the winter market without preseason, but the way he played in Porto is exactly how we see and want him to play here, so it hasn’t had to change much.”

The only thing that the German coach has reproached the coffee footballer with so far is the issue of language, since they have not yet been able to communicate in the best way.

“I am happy to be here in such a great team. I definitely have to start having more English classes. Hopefully I can learn it fast, that’s what I want. The important thing is that I’m doing things well and that I’m quickly joining the team”, admitted the peasant this week, after receiving the award for the best player of the match against Benfica.

Although he wasted some clear options, the Colombian striker had an outstanding performance with the Reds and he was the great figure of the engagement against the Portuguese. Also, he was included by Uefa in the ideal eleven of the Champions League.

With the victory in Lisbon, Liverpool added its fifth consecutive victory as a visitor in the current Champions League after achieving full wins in the group stage and doing the same in the first leg of the round of 16 against Inter Milan, which he won 2-0 at the San Siro stadium.

Before the second leg next Wednesday, the team led by Klopp will visit this Sunday, in a decisive match for the English championship, Manchester City, who defeated Atlético de Madrid at home last Tuesday.
